An Ordinance Designating a Portion of

I. Purpose
The purpose of this ordinance is to designate a portion of County Road W, located in the Town of Winter as an all-terrain vehicle route to allow access to trails; and to regulate the operation of all-terrain vehicles on that route.
II. Authority

The following portion of County Road W is hereby designated as All-Terrain Vehicle route as authorized by s. 23.33(8)(b), WI Stats :
Commencing from the intersection with
In Section 16 and 17, Township 38 North, Range 3 West, traveling south

River bridge, a distance of approximately one half mile.
All-terrain vehicle routes will be clearly marked, with signs designating beginning and ending as well as other directional signs as needed. Signage will be provided, installed and maintained by local ATV clubs and/or interested parties. Roads that are not signed are understood to be closed to ATV traffic.

routes is 20 mph unless otherwise posted.
c. All all-terrain vehicle operators shall have their headlights and tail lights turned on at all times.
d. All all-terrain vehicle operators and riders under the age of 18 must wear a
helmet.
VI. Enforcement
This ordinance shall be enforced by any law enforcement officer authorized to enforce the laws of the State of

Old Lodge Lane located in the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 38 North Range 3 West, is hereby designated as All-Terrain Vehicle route as authorized by s. 23.33(8)(b), WI Stats from May 1 to November 15 of each year: beginning at the intersection of Old Lodge Lane and County Road M and traveling west four tenths of a mile to the end of the Town Road.
All-terrain vehicle routes will be clearly marked, with signs designating beginning and ending as well as other directional signs as needed. Signage will be provided, installed and maintained by local ATV clubs and/or interested parties. Roads that are not signed are understood to be closed to ATV traffic.

The purpose of this ordinance is to designate Lagoon Road, Nelson Road and Kalow Road, all Town of Winter roads, as an all-terrain vehicle routes, and to regulate the operation of all-terrain vehicles on those routes.

Ordinance 2009-10
Adoption of
Town of
State of
I. AUTHORITY
These regulations are adopted under the authority granted by s. 10.65, WI Stats
II. PURPOSE
The purpose of this ordinance is to promote the general health, safety and welfare and to maintain required local uniformity with the administrative and technical requirements of the Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code.
III. SCOPE
The scope of this ordinance includes the construction and inspection of one and two family dwellings built since
IV.
The Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code, Chs Comm 20-25 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code, and all amendment thereto, is adopted and incorporated by reference and shall apply to all buildings within the scope of this ordinance.
V. BUILDING INSPECTOR
There is hereby created the position of Building Inspector, who shall administer and enforce this ordinance and shall be certified by the Division of Safety & Buildings, as specified by Wisconsin Statutes, Section 101.66(2), in the category of Uniform Dwelling Code Construction Inspector. Additionally, this or other assistant inspectors shall possess the certification categories of UDC HVAC, UDC Electrical and UDC Plumbing.
VI. BUILDING PERMIT REQUIRED
Any person altering a building in excess of $125,000 value in any twelve month period, adding onto a building in excess of $250,000, in any twelve month period, or constructing or installing a new building within the scope of this ordinance shall first obtain a WI UDC building permit for such work from the Building Inspector. Any structural changes or major changes to mechanical systems that involve extensions shall require permits if over the foregoing thresholds. Restoration or repair of an installation to its previous code-compliant condition as determined by the building inspector shall be exempted from permit requirements. Residing, re-roofing, finishing of interior surfaces and installation of cabinetry shall be exempted from permit requirements. (Note: Land Use permits from Sawyer County Zoning Administration may also be required.)
VII. BUILDING PERMIT FEE
Inspection fees shall be determined by and paid to the UDC certified building inspector contracted to the Town of Winter, and shall include $30.00 or current amount determined by the Department of Commerce, to be forwarded to the Wisconsin Department of Commerce for a UDC permit seal that shall be assigned to any new dwelling.
VIII. PENALTIES.
The enforcement of this section and all other laws and ordinances relating to building shall be by means of the withholding of building permits, imposition of forfeitures and injunctive action. Forfeiture amounts shall be set and regulated by Sawyer County Zoning Administration.
IX. EFFECTIVE DATE.
This ordinance shall be effective upon passage and publication as provided by law.
X. The building inspector shall keep a log of all inspections completed.

The purpose of this ordinance is to designate a portion of County Road W, located in the Town of Winter as an all-terrain vehicle trail to allow access to fuel, services and the Tuscobia Trail; and to regulate the operation of all-terrain vehicles on that trail.
II. Authority
The Town of Winter Board of Supervisors has specific authority to adopt this All-Terrain Vehicle Trail Ordinance under s. 23.33(8)(b) and (11), WI Stats.
III. Designation of All-Terrain Vehicle Trail
The following portion of County Road W is hereby designated as All-Terrain Vehicle trail as authorized by s. 23.33(8)(b), WI Stats from May 1 to November 15 of each year:

An Ordinance Establishing Fire Protection Charges
WHEREAS, 1983
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest of the Town of Winter to charge all or a portion of the costs of such protection to owners of the property;
NOW THEREFORE, the Town of
Section 1 – State Authority
Pursuant to Section 60.55, 60.555, and 60.557 of Wisconsin Statutes, the Town of
Section 2 – Liability for Fire Protection Costs
The owners of real property within the Town of
Primary Engine First hour $100 per hour or part of
Second/subsequent hrs 75 per hour or part of
Pumper truck First hour $75 per hour or part of
Second/subsequent hrs $50 per hour or part of
Tanker truck First hour $60 per hour or part of
Second/subsequent hrs $40 per hour or part of
Other fire department owned vehicles $35 per hour
Firemen First hour per man $20 per hour or part of
Second/subsequent hrs $15 per hour or part of
Materials Water actual charge for amount used
Foam $85 per gallon
Air packs $15 per tank

Section 3 – Billing and Payment Procedure
The costs of fire calls as outlined above shall be billed by the Town of
Section 4 – Severability of Provisions
Should any section or provisions of this ordinance be declared invalid, such decisions shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance.
Section 5 – Effective Date
This ordinance shall take effect from date of passage and posting as provided by law.
